Nature Walk
Educational trails—also known as nature trails or themed paths—are specially designed walking routes that guide visitors through natural, historical, or cultural environments. Along the way, marked stations provide information about local wildlife, plants, geology, cultural heritage, or environmental conservation.
These trails typically include interpretive signs, maps, illustrations, or interactive elements that help visitors understand the landscape and its significance. Some routes may focus on a specific theme, such as ancient agricultural practices, native ecosystems, or Andean traditions.
In South America, particularly in Peru, educational trails offer a meaningful way to explore archaeological sites, protected natural areas, and traditional rural communities—blending outdoor adventure with cultural learning.
